Summer Students
Our organization is dedicated to engaging youth in our facility through our Summer Student program supported by Canada Summer Jobs. Each year, we welcome students between the ages of 15 and 30 to learn valuable skills while supporting our daily operations. We believe in fostering youth development and providing opportunities for growth and learning. Our Summer Student program is an important aspect of our commitment to empowering young people.

College field trip

Our facility hosts an educational field trip every year in late summer put on by Coat Mountain College. They bring their students to our community to teach them about coastal ecology. Our aim is to provide an environment that allows them to learn about the diverse range of flora and fauna that exist in coastal ecosystems. Through various activities and workshops conducted on-site, students gain a better understanding of the importance of maintaining these delicate ecosystems and the impact of human activity on them. We strive to aid the college in making the trip an engaging and enlightening experience that ignites a passion in students for environmental conservation.
